Disseminator
Grant General Information
A Disseminator is a certified K-12 teacher whose school receives gas
and/or electricity from Xcel Energy in Colorado.
Teachers who are awarded Disseminator grants will be required to prepare a curriculum
packet for their program, and share their packet with teachers interested in adapting
their program.
All applicants must be certified classroom teachers or administrators. Other involved
participants, such as paraprofessionals, parents, or student teachers are not eligible.
No more than two teachers may be listed per program.
Application deadline date is November 1.

Adapter
Grant General Information
An Adapter is a certified K-12 teacher whose
school receives gas and/or electricity from Xcel Energy in
Colorado. An Adapter takes a
program from the Classroom Connection web site and creatively modifies it to his/her own
classroom situation. Adapter grants will be awarded to individual teachers only. Adapter
grants are $200.
You may apply to adapt any program on the Classroom Connection web site that was developed for
your grade level/subject matter, or explore how ideas from other grade levels can be used
with your students.
All applicants must be certified classroom teachers or administrators. Other
involved participants, such as paraprofessionals, parents, or student teachers are not eligible.
Before an Adapter application can be completed, you MUST request and
receive a copy of the Disseminator teacher's curriculum for the program
you are interested in adapting.
All sections of the application must be completed for consideration. Incomplete
application will not be considered.
Application deadlines are November 1 and March 1.
